Pretend We're Not Here

Lyka needs a job.

Even if it is at one of the most allegedly haunted places in all of town. The money is good, and she isn't going to complain. She needs every penny after all if she's going to ask to the love of her life to the Halloween school dance.

But once she finds herself sweeping the floors of Our Holy House of Conversation, strange things start to happen. Lights flicker, things move on their own, and people begin to appear out of thin air. Lyka is determined to stick out though, for the sake of funding the perfect love confession.

However, as the night goes on, she sees things that cannot be unseen. Truths are shown to her that defy explanation. Reality is shattered and rebuilt.

Because it turns out, ghosts are real after all.

And Lyka is about to get to know them very, very well.
